Everything you need to know about using Noctua.
Noctua is a platform that transforms your HTML articles into podcast-style audio. Paste a link to your article that you don't have time to read, and we convert it into natural-sounding spoken content you can listen to anywhere.
We support HTML articles from any public web page. Simply paste the URL of the article you want to convert, and we'll handle the rest. We do not currently support direct file uploads.
Most documents are converted within a few minutes. Longer documents may take a bit more time. You can track the progress of your conversions on the Dashboard.
Noctua generates a personal RSS feed of your converted audio. You can subscribe to this feed in any podcast app that supports custom feeds (such as Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, or Overcast) and listen to your documents just like a podcast.
Yes! Apple Podcasts supports custom feeds. To add your Noctua feed:
Your converted articles will then appear as episodes in Apple Podcasts, just like any other show.
Not currently. Spotify does not support adding custom podcast feeds. However, there are plenty of great podcast apps that do, including Pocket Casts and Overcast, both of which work seamlessly with your Noctua feed.
Your documents and audio files are private to your account. We do not share your content with other users or third parties.
If you have a question not covered here, you can reach us at bubo@noctua.app. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
